Triple Marker Test

Overview

The triple marker test is fetal screening test for detecting neural tube defects and chromosomal abnormalities. The test includes an additional parameter than the double marker test: AFP. It is carried out during the second trimester of pregnancy. The test contributes to informed decision-making and appropriate prenatal care.
